Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or individual - Schedule appointments and maintain the appointment calendar - Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary payments - Maintain patient records and update information as needed - Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns promptly Requirements:
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred - Proficient in using patient service software - Knowledge of medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals - Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle multiple phone lines - Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Note:
